Dr. Parimal Patel is a Senior Systems Engineer at Xilinx. He joined the Xilinx University Program in 2007, developing courses and delivering workshops worldwide. Prior to Xilinx, Dr. Patel was a professor at the University of Texas. During his tenure at the university he taught variety of courses including Logic Design, Digital Systems Design, Microcomputer Systems (peripheral interface principles), Embedded Systems Design, VLSI System Design, Computer Architecture, RISC Processor Design, Engineering Workstations, and Advanced HDL modeling. Dr. Patel holds a Ph.D, Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Bombay.
